Lovin' the Hills trail race

Just a peek into my professional life. I have been producing a lot of video content lately for courier-journal.com, the Web site for Louisville's daily newspaper. This was shot on Feb. 14 at Jefferson Memorial Forest in Louisville and features ultra marathon trail runners who spent Valentine's Day running in a 31-mile race. I shot it with a Sony HVR A1U hi-def camera and edited in Final Cut Pro. The quality is bad due to Viddler. I might start using Vimeo for embedding videos just for that reason.

Hilary: I'm a novice when it comes to trail running venues. Check out louisvilletrailstore.com -- there's a forum there. Also check out headfirstperformance.com -- they sponsor and run a lot of trail races in Kentucky.
