Picture Kentucky 2009

John Haywood teaches traditional Appalachian music in Knott County, Kentucky. I shot this piece for the Picture Kentucky 2009 workshop in September in Hindman, Ky. (Visit Haywood's Website.) His artwork is currently on display at The Appalachian Center at Berea College. He teaches with grants from several sources including the Appalshop in Whitesburg, Ky.
